It was a tough night for me. St. Mary’s and George Mason both got crushed, so Bo’s pretty much neck and neck with me now. Oh well, it’s only fair really. I got very very lucky on a lot of the early round picks and I blew it all by getting too cute with the champions even though they’re worth so much in this point system.  Speaking of which, if we do this again next year, we need to adjust this system. Fucking Depaul/Cincinnati tomorrow is worth as much as getting the champion of a bottom tier league. Anyway I digress. I’ll get up all my picks for these tournaments tomorrow, but because I don’t trust myself to put them up by noon, I’ll address the early games now:

Cincinnati over Depaul

This game shouldn’t be a real thing that we even have to dicuss. Depaul is 0-18 in the Big East. There is no reason they should be playing tomorrow in front of an empty MSG with no TV coverage. Also, I’ll delve into this more tomorrow, but the Big East is so overrated  and overhyped this year that it makes me want to stab someone. If you randomly have 16 teams in your conference and a quarter of them completely blow, you can’t be considered some kind of juggernaut. Anyway I gotta pick this other game that no one cares about, so I’ll move on.

Central Michigan over Eastern Michigan

Well, Eastern Michigan only has 8 wins all year and 2 of them are against Central Michigan, but I have to figure that CMU has enough self respect not to lose 3 times in one season to a team that loses 75% of its games.
