So aside from anectdotal evidence, I have no way of proving this, but I did my predicted bracket on Sunday as I do every year. I was on a plane when I did it so there was no way of posting it, but it turned out to be pretty accurate. According to the scoring system on this website

I would have had 314 points, good for a tie for 8th, and several spots ahead of Joe Lunardi. The point system is 3 points for correctly getting a team in the field (64 for me), 2 points for getting a seed correct (32 for me), and 1 point for getting a seed either exact or within one (58 for me). My last team in was St. Mary’s, and for what it’s worth I did have Arizona as the last team out. Just thought I should let all our loyal readers know that they’re getting their money’s worth at The Parent’s Basement. I’m positive that no one will ever want to read this, but I’ll post what my predicted bracket was just so I have it on record. I’ll be posting my real tournament thoughts at some point soon, but I can say that I agree with most of what Pat said about the East Region although I’m surprised he didn’t want to stay on the Tim Smith memorial E. Tennessee State bandwagon any longer.
